The Merciful Obtain Mercy -Elder Uchtdorf

Elder Uchtdorf gave this talk in the Sunday Morning Session of General Conference.  This was probably my second favorite talk of Conference this year, with Elder Anderson's being my favorite.  I have always enjoyed listening to Elder Uchtdorf talks in Conference.  This may be because I always listened well to his talks because he always told cool airplane stories.  He is a great public speaker also.  I enjoyed the part of his talk where he addressed the importance of not judging others.  This may be because I felt like it was an area that I could improve on.  I think everyone can improve in this area actually.  Anyways, here is the part of the talk that I really liked.

"This topic of judging others could actually be taught in a two-word sermon. When it comes to hating, gossiping, ignoring, ridiculing, holding grudges, or wanting to cause harm, please apply the following:
Stop it!  It’s that simple. We simply have to stop judging others and replace judgmental thoughts and feelings with a heart full of love for God and His children."

He then went on and discussed how we are all brothers and sisters with God as our Father.  This being the case, we need to respect everyone and not pass judgment on them.  We need to recognize that we are all imperfect and that to err is human.  I also found the words he saw on a bumper sticker to be humorous.  It said, "Don't judge me because I sin differently than you."
