Intramurals at BYU
BYU has many different intramurals that you can participate in as a student at BYU. They include flag football, dodge ball, soccer, and even inner tube water polo. The list goes on and on. You can choose between co-ed or only mens/womens. This year I have played on a co-ed ultimate Frisbee team, a mens dodge ball team, and a mens basketball team. I have enjoyed each of these sports that I played, but basketball was definitely my favorite. I played on a team with my brother in law and a bunch of his friends and we made a pretty good team. This was probably my favorite intramural activity because it is the sport that I am the best at and we played a lot of very competitive teams. Ultimate Frisbee was a lot of fun, but we didn't have a very good team or record. We ended up playing in the middle division because they ran out of spots in the lower division. We never won a game but we didn't really care so we had a ton of fun playing. The dodge ball team that I was on was with my roommates and a couple other guys in my dorm. We were a pretty competitive team and had a blast playing. We all got along really well and just enjoyed hanging out together. Overall I have had a great experience so far in intramurals.
